Yep, I'm a diehard Prince fan. I love all "types" of music but Prince is numbers 1,2 and 3 for me. All the others come after that. I've been diehard for 22 years. I LOVE ME SOME PRINCE!!

I loved Prince in the 80's and early 90's and then life took me away and then I went to the Musicology concert...TWICE...I am glad I'm back. Discovering and re-discovering his music and renewing my respect for his music and attraction to the man! Hard core? Not sure....

Prince would probably be in the top 10 of my favorite artists, but he's not the sun the moon and the stars to me. I like Duke Ellington, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Sly Stone, Miles Davis and a few others more than I like Prince. However, i find myself more aggressively justifying my fanship of Prince than any other artist because a lot of people I know either are indifferent to or downright hate him. However I've found little evidence that most people who don't like him, know next to nothing about him and his music.

Over the past few years, I haven't been listening to as much music as I did when I was younger. In fact, I would rather listen to sports radio in the car than a music station. There are certain artists I will always listen to and support. Of those artists, Prince is number one. It's a condition I just can't get over.

I am. But nothing wrong with liking Rick James more. He is cool too.

I've followed him since 83.

I own 80% of his official releases on CD.

But I don't own any of his movies, or Live concert footage.
I don't often listen to him either.

I usually give his albums a few spins after purchasing them, but they haven't really had much "umph" lately.

I'd say, I'm a big fan, but not a diehard one.

Since 1984. I didnt dig Parade at all in 1986 and I hated Tony M's rapping in 1991-92, but I stuck with Prince. No body else alive can play guitar like him and make music like him. Prince is a rebel.

Besides my loving husband,and 4 kids. I can not think of another person on earth who can put a smile on face by just listening to him...talk. Yes, talk.
I LOVE his speaking voice! Nevermind how I feel about his singing and music.
