We all know that Prince likes to change his band,but................... surely to f**k he will never be able to find someone to fill John Blackwells'
shoes? Prince willing, i think that John should be his drummer 4eva imho he is the greatest that Prince has ever "employed" im not saying that Bobby Z was poor or Sheila E is rubbish but John just seems to fit in so well just now. all hail cos John b Fonky!!!!! discuss..... Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

JB is great, no argument. But I really have always missed the pure power of Michael Bland. "Gett Off" works because of his hard as hell drumming. Guess I'll finally get to see him live when he tours with Minn's other genius Westerberg. | |
