A year ago I was at my sweet friend's Angie's house and while she was cooking (I like to get pampered) she asked me to download 'that une he does with Sheila E.', meaning Erotic City.

So I download it, just the first Erotic City that came up on. We ate while it was downloading.

After that we watched a movie and I went home. MONTHS later I was there again and I came across the song and played it.

This version is amazing quality and it starts the same way the single version starts. As I tend to favor extended versions, I did not really listen. I just kept checking my mail.

Then all of a sudden the song moves into a part of the song I never heard before! Different instrumentation and different vocal parts!
I was flabbergasted! Where did this version come from?

I still loooove this alternate version!

But who knows when and how it surfaced? I never heard of another version being in excistence until I heard the song! Someone (Boris?) tell me more!

Testament 2.0 has two alternative version of "Erotic City". I'm curious if you were listening to one of those versions?

Obviously no one knows when this version leaked?

You're talking about the "Bobby Z. Tapes" version... Leaked many moons ago... Back when tape trading was still cool and CDr's didn't exist...

I think it was first heard by the masses on the boxed cd set called "studio nights" which had some of the coolest most tasteful packaging back then.
