UTCM DVD is CUT! I stuck in the UTCM DVD this morning only to realise that the start of the dvd has been cut. I stuck in my old VHS and realised the start where the WB logo appears and turns black and white with the female narrator talking over is missing on the DVD. WTF?! If this isn't good enough reason to hate Warner i don't know what is. Is the American version like this too or is it just the region 2 version? Has anyone spotted any other scenes missing?

Haven't had a chance to watch it yet. And it's so long since I last saw it that I can't picture it exactly. Is it just the WB logo missing, and was the narrator saying anything important, and is any of the acutal film cut? Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

I have the US version, and I don't think it qualifies as a cut. They just got rid of the old WB logo fading from color to black and white. The narration is still the same. WB's opening logo has changed since 1986 and they just updated it. While it was cool originally, I don't think it harms the film itself.

I like the WB logo fading to B&W. It nicely set you up for what was to come. The Normal Whores Club

I know it ain't much but i stuck the VHS copy in again. After the logo appears and turns black and white you start to hear water like a foutain or something then a women says "Once upon a time there lived a bad boy.....". On the DVD it comes in halfway through "lived."
So Anxiety is this missing on yours?

I just checked mine out purchased from Amazon uk region 2 and the wb logo does not fade to black (now bring it up and let me kick the ....?) oops got carried away there. Anyway it starts with a black screen, trickling water sound and then goes into "Once upon a time" just like it always did. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

Me neither...of course I bought it before lunchtime on 8/24, the day of the release, but aside from watching the videos I haven't watched the actual movie yet. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

Look hi & low & ye shall find! Hmmm very subtle, thanks though Ive found it now. THe funniest thing is when Gerome asks wether he should wear the versace or the banuchi (or whatever) and Christopher sayes he likes the blue, well it turns out it aint even blue If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!
