Here's my favorite.
Apollonia gets out of the lake, obviously soaked, hair dripping wet.
The Kid goofs off for a while, not letting her back on the bike.
When she finally gets on and they speed off, her hair is dry and flowing like crazy.

Mistake #2

Large portions of the movie appear to have been mistakenly edited out, making the denouement and conclusion hard to understand and enjoy.

No, it was more like they took away fragments of the movie that would help us understand many of the character conflicts, and the end, following his Dad's attempted suicide (why the hell was there a chalk outline?) was a song, and then a montage. What the hell? How can you just neatly wrap up a two hour movie with a montage!? Lame.

At the beginning of the movie when apollonia is at the club and she signs the form which jill gives to her, it states her name, her age, her height, what her talents are (Dancing and singing) etc, although when prince checks it out in a few scenes later the form only includes her name and age (i think), it dosent state that she sings and dances. I dunno why but this mistake is really frustrating! How could they not have noticed? Well that is one mistake which i notice everytime... i cant think of any others though (besides the wet hair one ofcoarse)

It REALLY pisses me off when he enters the lake with Apples on his ROADBIKE with road bike tyres and while he's goofing around later the bike has DIRT BIKE tyres for all the gravel/dust shots as he leaves her, but when he stops at the top of the road to look at apples on the ground, the bike has road tyres again??Grrrrr

The same friend also pointed out that the engine sounds used in the film are not the sounds made by the engines of either of the bikes used in the film. But he's probably the only person in the world to notice that.

Continuity: Prince concentrates on the chalk mark of his father's suicide attempt in the basement just before he flips out. Funny, but I thought they only made chalk outlines for people who actually died.

When Morris and Apples are leaving The Taste, it's raining outside but neither one is wet. And P is totally dry after sitting in a wet alley...

Wasn't this explained recently (maybe on the new DVD)? Parts of that scene at Lake Minnetonka had to be reshot in Los Angeles. That would account for the different motorcycles, Apples hair suddenly being dry, etc.

Most of you guys should know this one. During the big fight scene between the Kid’s parents, the Kid is not wearing the big hoop earring. We cut to the next scene and the earring is there. I really would have liked to see the conversation scene between him and his mom.
