No , i first dragged them from "My shared folder"to another map to rename them and then deleted them from "My Kazaa" , the trash thing is empty
I didn't have any back up either [Edited 10/27/04 14:18pm]

This is why I still buy CDs and never got into the downloading thing. I'm always afraid that this would happen.

I think it might be possible to retreive them if you take your computer in to a shop somewhere. They have ways, you know.

also, before going to a shop, try using system restore if you're using windows. that's helped me with some dire cases.

Searching on "Prince" on my computer doesn't give any results , so i don't think going to a computer shop will help . I think the files are gone
Cheers for your replies tho'

Are you on a or a ?
If you're on a MAC, Norton Utilities can recover them. I did the same thing once, so I feel for you. I had to re-download everything.

You'd be surprised what they can find on your computer. Just because something has been "deleted" from your ability to get it, doesn't mean it's no longer on the machine.
There's lots of do it yourself tools out there, but if you wanted something easy you could try "Google Desktop Search".
