To be exact, it wasn't entirely filmed in Paisley Park. The bit with the motorbike going through Minneapolis was shot in, err, Minneaapolis. Paisley Park's soundstage isn't quite that big...

biggrin HBut despite this, it is pretty amazing that vitually the whole thing was done at Paisly! I too love the movie alot more then "purple rain".....I cannot stand watching Appolonia's crap acting! It is so awful, and the kids is awful too to in the first half hour!

I love "gb" movie as it looks like no other movie and I love the look it has! Those colourings, the dark blues/blacks r gorgeous, and the films "spiritual" message is trippy too.....one of my fav movies ever!

They also rented a warehouse in a suberb of Minneapolis call New Hope. It was only 4 blocks from my house. The shot of him riding his motorcycle through Minneapolis was in an area call 7 Corners.

MIGUELGOMEZ

I think it was a slap in the face when Jill was asked to lip sync Elisa Fiorillo's part in the movie. I love Jill Jones. They should've let her sing the album version. "I've got the toys....."

The background on "Graffiti Bridge" is absolutely horrible. It reminds me of the old painted background scenes on "Green Acres".
