I'm sure it's no secret 2 anybody here that he a lot of professional woes and probably a slew of personal woes that we'll never know about at that time. I think his best music has always come from the times in his life when he was either his most happy or his most miserable. The prince years, 4 me anyway, provided some of his most satisfying material, despite the fact that his life seemed to b crumbling around him.

I think the 90's was a dark time for Prince. The most revealing thing he ever did during the 90's was change his name to prince. That was really crazy but, what were you suppose to call him. Luckily, we called him "The Artist Formely Known As Prince". He was still Prince and it's probably my favorite period of his career.

Those years will always B special 2 me, because I Bcame a fan (during the Rave fase...).

Some stuff were totally wack:nuts:, but others were brilliant...

But still the vintage years R the best!

I kinda liked Rave Un2 The Joy back in 1999, but some of the tracks just didn't do it for me. The concert that appeared on pay per view was probably one of the best concerts I ever saw in years and I taped it, but now I think it's time 4 me 2 get it on DVD.

I personally loved the symbol years. Prince seemed saw raw and nasty during this dark time. the music was fantastic and the concerts over the top and dirty!. The Gold Experience kicked my ass and still does!. long live 0(+>. What an era!

i mean i just loved that era of Prince's career. I remember seeing the gold tour live in London and Birmingham and it blew me away it was so raw and dark. i loved everything about this era from the music to how freaky he looked at times. If Prince ever decides to get dirty and nasty again ill be all 4 it! cool

The first CD I bought was Symbol....I love Gold, and I really think that suffering makes greatest art sometimes....Rave Un2 is brilliant, and for me it was all worth it for The Greatest Romance Ever Sold alone.

I'm glad Prince is happy, but as someone who really doesn't know him and selfishly just enjoys the music, Symbol Years was great time. As anything before it was.
