OMG Check this out they will show Eminem's Mosh Video on MTV and not Cinnamon Girl I am very disturbed that they will not play Cinnamon Girl but they will play Mosh by Eminem. I watched this video 4 the first time and couldn’t believe they refuse 2 play Cinnamon Girl. Very heavy and positive video but when P speaks of racism, war, and innocent people being killed by bombs then it becomes 2 controversy 4 TV. Eminems video has a very positive message directed at Bush 4 all 2 get out and vote just like P’s message showing awareness of prejudice and racism more so after 9/11 but all of a sudden it’s 2 controversy and it subject matters are taken out of content and interpreted in a negative way. If they can show Eminems video they should show P’s imho |

ok when em released his most recent video Just Lose It i didnt understand one damn bit what it is about.that is why most recently i started to dislike Em because of the simple fact that he does stupid crap and he hinks karma wont come back and it came thanx 2 michael critsizing him but right now its on BET and i get the point now hes going against Bush and i LIKE it no matter what but i dont understand why they dont play prince's video.these videos have almost the same content and these 2 artist did xpress their freedom of speech but what is the diiference? | |

I looked at Em’s video and watch him go against Bush and yet I found there videos 2 have some of the same subject matters expressed in different ways and yes it does boil down 2 freedom of speech. Some feel the Cinnamon Girl song is no good, but what does that have 2 do with the video getting air play. Everything Eminem does is glorified. I just feel so bad 4 P because he has to fight 4 everything when it comes 2 his music being heard. I hate it myself that Prince has to fight damn near everybody to get a song played but I hope that the song will get some airplay soon. It's already on mtv.com and doing well. I've already e-mailed them through their TRL section. We have to do something too. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

Haven't seen it myself since they got rid of it over 10 years ago down here in Australia. Haven't even seen the video anywhere. Even though P get's what some consider as 'limited' commercial exposure in the states, all fans in america should consider themselves lucky, because what we get, could b considered as 'shithouse'. | |

It's more profitable to play a current pop act than one who has already had their commercial peak. Playing new music means kids and teenagers will watch the channel. Lawd ya'll...MTV doesn't play most 40 somethings...period...
If prince was still 25....he would get played on MTV...this is why you see the video on other Viacom music channels that have a different demo. This isn't about Em. Its about demographics. This isn't about MTV trying to shut out Prince...I don't see Bruce Springteen, Duran Duran, George Michale, Anita Baker, Patti Labelle or Teena Marie new music bring played on MTV. the song sucks anyway... | |

Prince can run rings around this punk ass fool. MTV is crap compared to what it used to be when I used to watch it 24/7 (during the 80s). The hell with them and Eminem.
