I personally liked Crystal Ball. The title track alone blows my mind every time I hear it. It has a lot of cool joints on it.

Yes, of course....it´s essential in every Prince fan. There are lots of 80s outtakes and with the NPG.

I waited months for CB. I had to order it as an import from my local CD shop. Yes, it is worth having. It is essential if you are a fan of the music. It was worth the wait.

Definetly... purchase this set. It is worth it. I look at 'Crystal Ball' as a misc collection of songs that were supposed to go on albums, but for whatever reason did not. I wish the literature booklet was more detailed, that would top it off...

P.S. 'The Truth' is a must have.

Definitely - especially Disc 1! Takes you through a bit of a P trip. Especially reminds me of SOTT and Symbol albums....

Absolutely. I have two copies - the "petri dish" and the standard (which I found used - mispriced at only $12.99!). I'd pick that over most other releases in the nineties.

Excellent set. It is worth buying for the title track alone. I 4got who said it, but the track is "Prince drunk on his own genius." Also, 2morrow, Days Of Wild, The Ride, Acknowledge Me, Interactive, Ripopgodazippa, Movie Star, Calhoun Square, I mean... How can u NOT want those songs?

If you want to buy 1 album, and you've already got all his early albums (Prince-lovesexy), get this. If you havn't got all the early ones, buy them instead !

It's really worth owning! My guitar teacher got it from me and he said that he sat down with his friends and listened to the title track and they thought he's the Zappa of pop music.
Crystal Ball is one of my two favorite Prince songs (with Adore).

This is honestly the first thread that prompted me to bring a Prince disc in my car (that wasn't already there). Absolutely, Crystal Ball is on the must-have list!
