they played Call My Name a few times when it was first pushed on the urban radio station here in Houston. But that's all I ever heard.

I live in Philly (though I don't know what significance that has to this question) and I have heard both Musicology & Call My Name played in regualr rotation on an urban radio station. I'm hoping they put at least 1 more song from Musicology into rotation. music

There have been no top 40 hits from Musicology. The only chart single was "Call My Name" which peaked at #75.

I live in the SF bay area and heard 'Misicology' a couple of times on one station and 'Call My Name ' on another. IMO, I'm not sure that just because a song is on the radio a few times is worthy of being a hit. 'Adore' is a hit and a definitlely a favorite here at the 'org', but I never heard it onthe radio back in the day or now. I think that it got very little radio play , nationally.
Of the two 'Musicology' singles, I think 'Call My Name' is the better song.

No, and we probably won't due to the fact that Prince's tour was with Clear Channel's rival. Clear Channel owns most of the TOP 40 stations in the country.

I rarely listen to the radio, however I was driving last week (the only time I get to hear the radio) and I heard Call my Name on the R&B radio station. That was in Chicago, where he's always gotten radion play, as far as I know.

I think having a song on the radio is pretty big.

I live in Jersey and I hear Musicology and Call My Name quite a bit on the radio (as well as older music like LRC & Adore a lot too)
