I wonder if the cover art that purports to be from Warner Bros. and Paisley Park is faked. The face and backwards "Prince" are nearly identical to parts of the cover art for "Gett Off," which came out several years after the Camille project was scrapped. That simple artwork would be relatively easy to whip up in Photoshop.
Also, note that the linked page appears to be part of a bootleg discography, and that this particular disc is described as a CD-R. (Given that all of the tracks, except "Rebirth of the Flesh," have been released officially, perhaps "pirate" is a more appropriate description than "bootleg" for this disc.) I made a wma playlist and followed the order presented...and it works very nicely! The problem is that I never heard the rebirth of the flesh...How is it? | |

Sometimes he was lonely sometimes he was sad but most times he just took 4 granted all the nice things that he had. Some people said they loved him but Camille said "Contempt! So Camille found a new color. The color black: strongest hue of them all. He painted a picture called Le Grind -- hittin' so tall. And then Cindy C -- THE vogue fantasy. Horns & vocals 2 die 4. Lollipops -- in yours! Stroke after stroke callin' all others a joke. Superfunkycalifragisexi. Camille rocked hard in a funky place. Stuck his long funk in competition's face. Tuesday came. Blue Tuesday. His canvas full, and lying on the table, Camille mustered all the hate that he was able. Hate 4 the ones who ever doubted his game. Hate 4 the ones who ever doubted his name. "Tis nobody funkier -- let the Black Album fly." Spooky Electric was talking, Camille started 2 cry. Tricked. A fool he had been. In the lowest utmostest. I'm sure that whomever made it, intended it to be nothing more than an artist's representation of what could have been, then shared it with a few friends and wasn't aware that it would be utilised by bootleggers to sell their tawdry wares.
