Hey! anyone remember INTERACTIVE the Prince PC game? Well, this game came out a long time ago (94). It wasn't really my type of game, but like an interactive adventure (like Dune & Myst). But it did have great graphics and u could play some of his videos! Heres a snip:
He's one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. A modern-day Mozart. Now he's offering you an invitation to roam his playground of fantasy and music. It says the song Interactive was specifically written 4 this game. There are samples of close 2 100 pieces of music and video.Basically, u can explore paisley park, in a computer 3D environment. I partically like the candle room. Sam;) Prince 2010 Good Luck for Future & Tour

By the time I found this game existed, I couldn't find it anywhere. I remember asking 4 it in computer stores and getting weird looks from the clerks. Bastards. The Mothership Connection... Heehee, being the pack-gator I am I still have the Interactive box that came with the CD-ROM. The box says it has 6 complete songs, 3 of which had not been released in '94. It also has 4 full length videos, 52 song clips, 31 video clips, 9 morphs, 76 animations and 11 challenges. I really like Interactive, but after playing Myst, I wish Interactive was as in depth as Myst.

Although I've seen your wickedness, I still love your effervesence. And I know that loving you don't make no sense, but I guess that's why I like it...

Yea, I remember the game, still have it, and yea, THAT VAULT... I remember I bought the game, and I didn't even have a computer at the time... insane, and I played it at a friends house and I could do the vault pretty quickly... but then when I tried again on someone else's computer, it just wasn't working... until I finally figured out it had to do with the settings on her computer... which the org FAQ also clarifies here anyway..
But innitially it didn't take long to complete the whole game... although I must say, I got EXTREMELY irritated with THAT girl... remember "Choose me, oh no.... Choose me" or whatever.. grrr, she was just a tad frustrating! I also expected a bigger ending, it was a little bit of an anti climax.. don't you think? But I guess it wasn't about completing it, it was about the experience right?! [This message was edited Sun Apr 7 19:39:35 PDT 2002 by Diva] --ยปYou're my favourite moment, you're my Saturday...

I have the game..I actually did not want to go to the computer show I went to because I was overwhelmed! I'm walking past and then WHAM Prince at a computer show (OH JOY)!! I kept the box and the tattos and yes it took a while the crack the vault...I wrote the code inside the box HE HE. My boyfriend said "You would find something of Prince" and bought it for me..I would not touch a computer before that, but I was all over that game. He should release another one like "Paisley Park" and this time we would get to crack a vault open with 1 or 2 songs he's hiding in that head of his...R U LISTENING PRINCE! Doesn't this game already qualify as abandonware? I think you could upload it LEGALLY somewhere and everybody could be able to get it. (computer programs that haven't been manufactured for more than 2 years are freely distributable, and this thing definitely hasn't been even in the stores for at least five!)
Anyone? | |

I bought this also....haven't played it in awhile. i remember it having great pics. I bought it used, i've never seen it in a store. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
