I have been a Prince fan since the Lovesexy album... I have stood by him though the times when he appeared to go nuts and went underground releasing music over the net and not really caring about his fans.

I saw the Musicology tour and it was breathtaking ... the man gets better with age as his show if real refined. Why he prolongs releasing this material on a DVD or CD live box set is beyond me. The tour is fresh on peoples minds and watching everybody but my uncle releasing live CDs and DVDs why does Prince seem to make his fans wait. I think the sales would be phenomemal for both following on the success of the tour.

So why the delay... this is part of the frustration of being a Prince fan . He is so unpredictable ... if he were to release it on DVD I myself would probably purchase 3 copies. One for myself and the others as gifts.. many people have yet to experience his badness live. To watch him once live is to become a fan forever in my opinion.As I am sure many of you fellow fans have brought a Prince virgin to a concert to have them become a fan forever. Most dont realize what a great and talented showman he is. Release the damn DVD and live CD and your next album and tour would outdo this latest Musicology tour I am sure of it.

I had to let off some steam on this post ... he guy is my favourite artist but at the same time he really pisses me off. Some of you may share my feelings I am sure of it.

With my luck he will release it a year from now when he tour is long old news and my excitement about obtaining a copy of it wanes greatly. Such is life as a Prince fan I guess.

Release the darn DVD and or live CD set already!!

he can b a bit annoying when he does that, but u cant force him 2 release it early, however much we would all like him 2 hit him with this he might hear u them

There's no guarantee there will be a dvd release. Prince has done many concerts that have never been released officially.

Though saying that, I think there probably will be. He's probably just waiting for the rest of the world to see the show, fresh, before putting it out in stores.

Hmmm yes, you see, the problem is that 'they' realy make BAD dvd's out of his concerts !
I have two (rave & vegas) and it frustrating to see how bad it's filmed

So, IF they're gonna release it I hope we get some constant focassing on the man (esp. his guitar playing)

I'm not complaning about the lovesexy video (it was made by the dutch )

A top quality video is worth the wait. I'm sure he'll release before the buzz from the concert fades too much.
