He has a whole chapter devoted to Mayte from how they first met to their engagement to their breakup. There are also a few Prince mentions, he mentions Mayte told him Prince used to play Tommy Lee's song Welcome To Planet Boom all the time back in '94, and he was happy to know one of his favorite artists listened to his music, and when talking to Mayte he says it was a trip to know what Prince is actually like. In another chapter he names Prince as one of the artists who changed the way he listens to music, he has him listed as one of his favorite funk artists, he also says he didn't make a move on Mayte when they first met because he thought she was still married to Prince, he later says she was married to Prince what would she want with me. Also mentioned was that Mayte was devasted by the loss of the baby she had, and one of the factors that led to the breakup with Tommy Lee was that she wanted to get married and start a family and he couldn't give her that, he says she is one of the sweetest, nicest girls he ever met and they still remain friends.

Though I'm not a TL fan, I do think it's a positive reflection on both Tommy and Mayte that, even after they've broken up, they still speak so highly & fondly of one another.

It's nice when exes can remain friends.
