will Prince & Mani have children? Do you think Prince and Mani will have kids? He does seem 2 B a little more settled these days. It would be cute to see him being a dad.

Un4tunately, I'm not thinking no. I know that the genetic disorder that claimed the life of his 1st child came from him. Afterwards, he and Mayte were reportedly seeking 2 adopt a child. After something as shattering as the loss of a child, especially where Prince may feel responsible, I wouldn't b surprised if he were in no hurry 2 b a Dad.

I'm sorry I don't think Prince would be a good dad at all, he is far too selfish, he would want to control the childs life, without giving too much time. Isn't it enough he controls everyone and everything around him, why wish that on a innocent baby. | |

I think we shouldn’t doubt his ability to be a good dad, at least. Think about it - he has suffered so much loss of people and has a new faith that seems to have him at ease…..a new maturity, so to speak - wouldn’t it be a natural progression towards starting a family and being the best father possible? | |

It's a shame. They certainly would have beautiful children. You’re saying that this will or could happen again? Where did u hear this from? U mean 2 tell me that if his wife were 2 become pregnant their child would have the same illness as his son? |

That's a fact is it? People who've worked with him have commented that Prince encourages them to express themselves how they want to. Sheila E for example, but maybe not with her early career. Surely there's more of a grey area here. | |

I think Prince would be a very loving dad. However, I wouldn't want him to have children, that way when he divorces Mani there will be no strings attached and he'll be all mine!!!!! | |

I don't remember the specific (genetic) details but based on characteristics alone (based on the slides I saw of 'mildly affected' folks, otherwise normalish lookin/behavin folks), I'm willing to bet Prince carries the mutation (if any). I can't comment too well on why it would be more severe in his kid... but, maybe it's a mutation accumulation like Huntington's disease (sort of more severe with increasing generations), maybe he was dead-unlikey and Mayte had a similar (recessive) mutation, but more than likely it's a disorder that is caused by the presence/loss of more than one genetic factor - in this instance Prince could possibly have a healthy sprog using pre-implantation genetic diagnosis and IVF...but then again maybe the JW's are against that.  I bet you weren't expecting that kind of answer what r all these syndromes and stuff?r u saying prince has a syndrome r something can u explain 4 me? | |

Personally there are some topics concerning Prince that are discussed here which make me cringe...but I realy don't feel comfortable talking about something as personal as this whether it be true or not. I hope they have kids someday. I think Prince would be a great and interesting father. I don't know all that much about Mani but she seems really nice and would probably be a good and loving mom. I'm kinda glad they're not rushing it like Prince and Mayte did. Mayte got pregnant on their honeymoon. At least Prince and Mani have waited a few years. We'll just have to wait and see.
On the other hand, maybe Mani already has her hands full babying Prince.  | |

I'm sorry to sound so snide, but why would anyone here know the answer to such a question? what are you hoping to achieve, just to read other people's opinion. you don't even need to ask the question to know the answers you will get. some will say yes, others will say no. see, you could have saved yourself the trouble of ultimately revealing your insecurities, because the only other reason to ask such a question would be in hopes that others would agree with you, thus validating your own hopes and desires and making you feel better about yourself. the key to feeling better about yourself, though, would be to spend more time worrying about yourself and less worrying about Prince. this message brought to you by logic. | |
