Prince quotes on Mountains and Computer Blue

Does anyone remember Prince commenting on these songs? They are two of my favorite songs, but I know they had a lot of input from Wendy, Lisa and other members of The Revolution.

Can anyone recall a time where he's commented on them?

The only comment I can recall is when he said that The Revolution could play Computer Blue colder than anyone.

Can anyone recall a time where he's commented on them?

I can't , Prince doesnt make a habit of talking too much about specific tracks unless theyre the really famous ones does he?
Check out Chocadelica , updated with Lotusflow3r and MPLSound album lyrics April 2nd 2009 :

thanx. I feel the same way so that was why I wanted to enlist in the brain trust of the org. And sexxi is probably right, he did comment on Darling Nikki with the cold comment. My bad. I was really hoping to get thru 2004 without a mistake. Late October! So close! Thanx guys.

I don't recall Prince making any comments about Mountains or Computer Blue,
but then he very rarely comments on ANY songs anyway, particularly in regard
to other people's contribution.

But you are right about Wendy & Lisa having MAJOR input into those 2 particular
songs. He did make a comment about Darling Nikki being a 'cold' song, and that
the Revolution could really play it well, whereas it never seemed to sound so
good when played by his other bands. But the song itself didn't have any input
from the other band members (other than playing it).

Thanx Boris. I can always rely on a logic based, and informed followup.

I never heard any quotes on those songs, but I remember him talking about Parade, saying "aside from Kiss, there's nothing on it I'm particularly proud of"... and I was like, what about Mountains? What about Life Can Be So Nice? What about the rest o' the damn album??? razz

Once again, I bow and pray for remasters with liner notes by the man himself, a la Elvis Costello... sad
