Since when did fans matter?

I mean really? All this OTT comment on Jools Holland and his so-called re-styling renaissance of the US - it matters jack shit; cos Prince - as far as I'm looking is attracting as few new fans as a far right militant.

Shite analogy; yet its true - do you ever get the feeling you're preaching to the converted? You know its true.

Prince - we know - is the one - but all this hype and sudden interest - at least here in the UK has dissipated into nothing but thin air.

Musicology ??? At best the critics were indifferent - this was supposed to be his re-launch - Sony tried and succeeded in highlighting his greatness - past; been there - done that.....

Yes, I'd buy a ticket tomorrow for near-all-the-world if he toured round my way - but is anyone new listening?

That's not the sign of great artist - but its the sign of an enduring one - and in my heart sometimes I wonder.

Please let me be wrong.

Maybe its late.

Pessimistic Pedro - the purple just shit one out.
