When will MTV, BET or VH1 play Cinnamon Girl? It's been released for three weeks and not one play on either of these channels.
What's up? Are they ever going to play it? "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

I just caught this at 8:25pm Central. Hopefully it hasn't been played before then. I'm TiVoing it right now. "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

y'know?! and why's it on vh-1 classic, the damn thing just came out...VH1 Classic has a special segment where an artist's older video (at least ten years) is shown back to back with their current one. They're just trying to be creative with their hour-long video blocks. As for why "Cinnamon Girl" is being showed on the Classic station and nowhere else (except for MTVu), it's the channel where the least amount of people will see it and therefore not cause as much controversy. | |

MTV and VH1 will probably not play it until after the election is over. But then again, when do they ever play music videos anyway?
As for BET, they will never play it because it is a rock song. BET is no longer "Black Entertainment Television", it is "Hip Hop Entertainment Television". It didn't used to be like this on BET...they used to play Living Color and Lenny Kravitz...not anymore though. Andy is a four letter word. | |

It didn't used to be like this on BET...they used to play Living Color and Lenny Kravitz...not anymore though. Actually BET DOES still play Lenny Kravitz. They play his "Storm" video and just the other day, I say another one his videos on BET Uncut (I dont remember the name of it, but its the one he wakes in bed with couple women, sniffs some coke, him and his entourage gets on plane and does alot of freaky stuff, somebody vomits I think, then he does a concert and then runs backstage and he looks at himself in the mirror at the end). If anything, dont look for his videos on 106 & Park though cause thats a vote show for the many 14-year-olds around the globe.
