Classic Prince-quote from 1984

In the latest issue of the dutch music-magazine OOR (www.oor.nl) they have pulled out an old quote, from 1984, from a Prince interview:

'when I found out that there was hardly a dime to make being a porn-author, I decided to set my mind on music.In the end, the music-industry is made out of whores, pimps and horniness as well.'

Those were the days.....a lot has changed for Mr. Nelson.

Actually, that quote sounds like it comes from the 1980-1982 era which may have been used in 1984 articles about him. Prince didn't give many interviews in 1984 (if any at all). Someone got an original source for above quote?

You know what, the story in "Head" sounds like a flimsy porn scene. A chick on the way to her wedding stops and gives a guy a B.J. Then he shoots his protein goodness over the gown... Maybe a tad bit of truth to that quote.
