Poll: Who should join Prince on "Later with Jools Holland"? As follow up to the recent posts about the poll for who be a guest on Later with Jools Holland, myself and fellow fans were discussing who should with him...
For those not familiar with the show format, each week Jools Holland (former member of UK band "Squeeze") hosts 5 or 6 artists / bands who perform live and frequently jam with each other. Obviously if Prince were to be on the show it would be a very big deal indeed, so who would you choose to invite on the show to jam with perform on the same show and perform alongside Prince? Here were some ideas we bounced around plus some of my own: Wendy & Lisa Outkast Maceo Parker Jamiroquai Scissor Sisters Kelis Estelle Gareth Gates (Just to see him shown up and shamed for the useless plastic Pop Idol fool he is!) So... who would you invite? ~ - ~ ~ - ~ ~ - ~ ~ - ~ Peace, Love and Positivity ~ - ~ ~ - ~ ~ - ~ Tell me, who in the House know about the Quake.com

LOL! Much that I think JK's early stuff (first three albums) were pretty tight, and at least a few tracks from his most recent stuff was pretty 'funky', the guy is in fact a complete POLYSTYRENE SCREWDRIVER. This useless tool is the most arrogant arse in music. I'd love to see whether it was possible to fit both Prince and JK in the same studio, and in particular how JK would behave, because after all we know Prince wouldn't give a fuck ..... BULLSEYE!

I'm not voting anything, cuz I'm not British. So it's not like I'm gonna see it. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

One of the good things about 'Later ...' is the mix of different artists and their musical contributions. If it were to be a 'standard' programme, then I'd simply like to see Prince in there with other unrelated artists ... it's one of the features of the show and I don't see why it should change.
But I would hope that, as with a few other artists, it would lead to Prince also contributing a dedicated special for the series. The show is a great vehicle for Prince to showcase his talents to a wider appreciative audience, the 'real music played by real musicians' by-line that Prince has used would be reinforced, and the time is right on the back of the US resurgence of interest. . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

I never realised artists have done a 'special' for this show...if that's the case, it would out of this world if he was given the opportunity. ..... BULLSEYE!

Oh boy, just seen a documentary about Anastesia. She'd be brilliant alongside Prince on "Later..." or any stage for that matter. ~ - ~ ~ - ~ ~ - ~ ~ - ~ Peace, Love and Positivity ~ - ~ ~ - ~ ~ - ~ Tell me, who in the House know about the Quake.com
