So, yesterday I sent an email to Foefur. This is the guy that made the 77 track Prince mix. Anyway, I asked him if he had any other stuff in the pipeline as I thought the mix he did was awesome. If anyone doesnt have it yet then you should really get hold of it, its free and funky!

This is his response, just to give him a little free advertising as Im sure there are a load of newbies here that havent heard it or, heard OF it...

thanx 4 the compliment, glad you like it.

the mix you have took me about 3 months to make, including sorting out which
tracks to use, which is the most important thing really, using trax that
really fit.

as you might have noticed i always mix in key, or if not possible, create a
break between 2 different cords., for example feel u up vs. d.m.s.r.

so, 2 be honest , i don't think i can top this mix, if only maybe in terms
of quality and adding xtra tracks made after 2001 (the year this mix has
been made)

and well, even my biggest mix hero ben liebrand is a fan of it, he
broadcasted the mix on national radio earlier this year.

so, every effort in making it a perfect mix has been done, i do make other
mixes, but no other prince related stuff. sure, i got some ideas for a small
bonus mix of trax who didn't fit into this one, but that would be nothing
compared to the one i did, so i better not (for this moment)

I like the fact that Ben Liebrand has had a taste of it and liked it too! Im sure if Prince sanctioned this it would sell legitimately in its own right. But, as its free spread the word to all you see!

I spent quite a few hours trying to DL this and was unsuccessful even with emule. I eventually gave up.

i'd love to hear this, as i'm a really big fan of homemade mixes (which i assume are kosher to discuss and link to on here, yes/no?) - but i have absolutely no idea what this "torrent" business is all about.

I've heard alot of Prince mixes - and there are a few good ones out there - but this one is in a class of it's own.

is this the one that mixes in "work that fat, jaguar, 100 mph,,, etc? starts with the annastesia chords?

...sorry, looks like more people have that problem, like i mentioned earlier, try e-mule or limewire, better quality as well

look up .rar on google to find out how to decompress this... its a form of splitting and compressing a file.

recently heard dj foefur already did some sort of prince mix way back in the end of the 80's/beginning of the 90's. anyone can help me out with that one, or somebody aware of that title so i can search for that one? thanx!
