I do it sometimes too, even without realizing (WRONG FORUM!)But I feel the need to go against it every now and then. I do not see the problem of answering someone's question, even if it is the 100th time YOU have seen the question, but to that person it is the first time. I rather have people LIKE this site enough to return than to think that it is JUST a site filled with catankarous know it alls...(even if it is, most times...)

Yeah, his mother was half Italian, half Puerto Rican and his father was half African American, half Filipino. That's why he looks like a small, pretty horse. [Edited 10/19/04 4:10am] well that aint his ethnicity I don't think, but he DOES look like a small, pretty horse. I coulda sworn that as a child I watched an episode of the MY LITTLE PONY series and there was a pony called Nightshade performing, who was based on Prince.

OK, I'll answer seriously.
Where Prince says this, the band are playing Also Sprach Zarathustra, the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey. So people think this means Prince is some sort of new-age Nostrodamus. Fact is, Osama bin Laden did not materialise on 9th September 2001, he had been active, and newsworthy for a long while before, and just because he wasn't give n headlines doesn't make this some celestial prophecy. It's just an unhappy coincidence that Prince decided to air his political views during the performance of this track - As unfortunate as, say the group I Am The World Trade Center naming the 9th track of their album September before the events of 2001. And I think that pretty much explains the reaction to this thread, nothing personal, just stamping out a spark before it becomes a fire, and a quick search in Google would have given you what I just said. Oh, how I wish the search function on the org worked!
