Enjoyed voting on this, interesting to see other peoples thoughts as well!

My opinion, (for what it's worth), is that whilst SOTT undoubtedly has some of Prince's best work on, there is a few too many filler tracks here.

This leaves Purple Rain as my number one. Such a complete album without a single bad track on it.

I think people voted here largely out of habit. "Dirty Mind" is great, but #6? People are just so used to saying how great it is, out of habit and out of politeness to Dansa. Good to see how well TRC did though!

Cool contest, Starbuck! U know, after everybody raving about Dirty Mind, I pulled it out again and spun it all weekend, BUT I guess I'm just missing the boat here, I don't hear what everyone else is hearing that makes this album so great. Personally, this one is at the very bottom of the list. I think it really is my least favorite Prince album.
