Why is Prince not on satellite radio yet?

Eminem just got a channel on Sirius satellite radio. A NPG channel would be fantastic. I'm surprised Prince is not putting one together. He has said how he thinks broadcast radio is lame. Remember the club radio shows… imagine those 24 hours a day. None of use would have to get up and change or CD’s. I wonder why he is not on top of this.

This is actually a very good question. He's probably been approached by Sirius and XM. Would it be a commercial station or a commercial free station? Would we hear unreleased stuff? That would seem to be the point where Prince would waffle, as bootlegging would be so easy to do.

Prince could have a station that played non-repeating songs for days, maybe weeks. We'd get the Time, V6, A6, The Family, Jill Jones, Madhouse etc.

I could have subscribed to XM with my new vehicle, I just can't imagine paying for radio. Of course, I said the same thing about television 20 years ago...
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
