Prince game (old)

Has anyone else played the prince game from like 9 years ago? I used to have a copy but it no longer works due to it being DOS based and the CD being very scrated up..Just wondering if anyone else still has theres and can play it..I loved the music in the game and the graphics for that peroid were quite well done..Wonder if they'll bring out another one as I would buy it.smile
So others opinions on the game would be nice, I cant be the only one that loved it.

I played it sometime last winter. In all the years I have had it I never get to finish it. I am always missing the circle for the top of the symbol.

I just found mine too last summer. Couldn't load it because I was still running Win98 at home...I was told it would still run if I had XP. Need to try it again.

Prince release a CD ROM a while ago called Interactive. It included the video Interactive. It was released in 1994. There are tons of other stuff on it. I just can't write them all down.

mine works okay (i have XP), though it does run a little wonky in places and at times when i was playing it, i was scared ol' princeypants was gonna make my computer crash.

i've never played the game all the way to the end - there's some combination lock music thingie halfway through that i can never solve.

You could always try a DOS emulator like DOSBox or DOSEMU.Search the web and try for yourself.

It is the reason I am a "fan".
My dad liked Purple Rain and bought this CD-rom cause the Beatles one was sold out. Then i played it and I loved some songs in it. Paisley park, Peach, Get Off and Diamonds and Pearls. I couldnt believe every bit of song I heard was great, then I started buying all his albums. Strange thing is most of the songs that I liked to fast like Diamonds and Pearls, and Gett Off i barely hear nowadays, and the songs I didn't like at the time, like Erotic City, i funking loove now.

OK, first, the above post - ???

Back to the game: Yup, that was a fun, fun game. The only reason I found it back then was because it was in a 10-pack bundle of computer software at Wal-mart. You know, for its time, it was a great concept and like...a bonus for us fans. Never made it or would have made it to the general computer population, but that was probably not Prince's intentions.

I like to think of this Interactive game as a precursor to the NPGMC...a way to bring some fun to the fan experience.

That's exactly how I found it. I thought it was cool for a just a couple of bucks, so I got it. That was worth more than the price of all CDs put together as a bonus for us.
