MTV to add Cinnamon Girl to it's playlist next week!

This was taken from the Miami Herald article but wanted to make sure it was highlighted.

Seeds of controversy are already beginning to grow, even though the video - the first from Prince's new "Musicology" - will not begin running on MTV until next week. (It is currently viewable on Yahoo and on Prince's pay fan club site, www.npgmusicclub.com.)

It's about damned time. I am not a member of NPGMC and I cannot find it on Yahoo. I've been dying to see it after all I have heard about it.

Why do articles always seem to get easy facts wrong though? I don't think you have to be a hardcore fan to know there were videos for "Musicology" and "Call My Name." I could see maybe not knowing "Call My Name," but "Musicology" got a lot of airplay, and was even nominated for a Best Male Artist award at the VMAs....which were held in Miami, where this article comes from!

Well, I guess between the buzz the video got from us and HQ, they had to reconize P.

Thanks for the link but I already saw that thread earlier. One of them is AOL, which I don't have, and the other is Real Player, which I also don't have. I never download anything new because of all the damned spyware that enters my computer. I have to run my computer's recovery disc about once every two weeks, wipe my computer completely out, and start all over from scratch. Each time I have to download my internet service disc afterwards.

I have downloaded spyware removal programs and everything. Nothing works except running my recovery disc and starting all over again. After about two weeks, my computer starts going very slow and I know it's time to run the disc again. It's getting rediculous. They need to lock these damned companies up because they are invading people's privacy and ruining their computers.

Thanks for the link anyway.

you don't ahve to have AOL for the quicktime link to work - just right click and download the file.

Also, just switch to a Mac and all of your these issues just go away.

From mtv.com:

The video for Prince's song "Cinnamon Girl" doesn't premiere until next week, but it's already causing quite a stir. The clip, directed by video vet Phil Harder, features "Whale Rider" star Keisha Castle-Hughes as an Arab-American girl who is fed up with the anti-Arab sentiments she encounters in everyday life. The video concludes with Castle-Hughes' character fantasizing about exploding a bomb in an airport as a result of her frustrations.
