I know there may not have been an actual song line up for it...but what were going to be the songs for the next Vanity 6 album? DId some of those songs end up on the Apollonia 6 album? Are there any V-6 or Apple outtakes?

I have so far in the list...

I think "Glamourous Life" and "Manic Monday" was going to be on the Apollonia 6 album (which was Vanity's group in the first place).

I presume all the tracks given to Sheila were only for the Apollonia 6 LP (Olivers House, Glam. Life), and same goes for Take Me With U - although I guess it depends on recording dates.

Any track intended for A6 recorded prior to Vanity's leaving of the band had a good possibility of being included on the 2nd Vanity 6 LP, and thus any song recorded after her departure was obviously never intended for V6 LP2.

Possibly some of the Hookers tracks could have also been considered?

Prince was halfway through recording the 2nd V6 LP: 17 Days, Promise To Be True, Vibrator, Sex Shooter, incomplete song 'Wet Dream Cousin', G-Spot.

I remember seeing a scan of a promo cassette of the A6 album in an old issue of Uptown, and the cover displays Manic Monday on the tracklist - I always presumed the circulating version came from here

Thanks for all the info. I was looking to sorta do a V-6/A-6 outtakes comp and was wondering if there is enough material. But it looks like smatterings of songs here and there. Really unfinished stuff (unlike other projects that could have been finished but ended up shelved)

So it's in similar vein to The Flesh stuff..in that some is out there but little was really captured or finished.
