I remember when the magazine "Controversy" had aan article written by a girl who went to a warehouse where Prince was jamming and played "Rave" and a few others?
Also there wasa documentry on bbc that showed P jamming with the band and wondered if this was the same place?
Any clues?

I remember seeing a programme also of the rehearsal, it was at Wembley, prince was sitting in the seats watching the band perform, he stopped it and wanted a spotlight on Miko's shoes!!! asking something abot where he got them.

Might be a little different then I remember though it was a long time ago.....

The England rehearsals were at Birmingham, not London.

Prince let some of us into a soundcheck at London, but that was simply in Wembley Arena the afternoon of the show.

maybe rehearsal was not the right word, when he was in london he rented out a warehouse to jam at.

There was also the aftershow at Camden Palace. Which was in Camden, London. Shame, a few years later I used to occasionally frequent the Palace on Indie disco night...
