Parade is my vote. Purple Rain is getting alot of votes? Just because it appeals to the masses and is over played doesn't mean it should not win. It should win easily actually. But if it doesn't get booted this time it looks like it will next.

Purple Rain is taking the lead, at this point. Any1 thinking Parade is better than Purple Rain need immediately turn in their Prince fan card, their common-sense card, their taste in music card and then fall to their knees and pray for forgiveness. Because y'all are only voting for Purple Rain because you've heard it too many times, and are growing tired of it. Parade was tired to begin with! When I first bought PR in '84 I played the shit out of it. I literally wore out 2 LP's and 1 cassette tape. I Love every song on it. I also love every song on PARADE. When PR came out it sounded like a natural progression from 1999. When PARADE came out, it was totally different from any other "Pop" album at that time. It blew me away! PR never blew me away like PARADE or SOTT or even LOVESEXY did. GREAT, GREAT album, just not his best IMHO biggrin

Parade is a better album than Purple Rain biggrin

Just listen to it closely (headphones?) and you will be suprised how good Parade is cool

If I had the choice... I'd buy Parade.
Honestly, I've listened to both of them a 1000 times, but Parade is the better album lol

I absolutely LOVE the series. Wait 'til you see what I have lined up for October 31st (I've been working on it for over a week, and I'm not even half done). If you're a fan, you're gonna love it! Right now I have a review of the new box set that was released and I put up a tribute to the movies and my thoughts on all 11 of them (that includes Freddy vs. Jason).
