Last night, my daughter came into the living room to tell me that the show she was watching had a Prince connection. I went into her room and the show she was watching was the WB's 'That's What I Like About You,' which centers around two sisters, one sister is in her 30's (Jenny Garth) and the other is about 19 (Amanda Bynes from Nick). From what I saw, the older sister had reniged on a promise that they made to spend time with each other on a set day. She bought tickets to a Prince concert for herself and her boyfriend and didn't tell her little sister. Some kind of way, the little sister found the tickets and saw that the concert was on the same night that they were suppose to have their girl's night out. She concocted a plan to stall her sister so she couldn't go to the concert. The older sister started getting ansy because it time for her to jet for the concert. The younger sister finally revealed that she had found out about the tickets and was upset. The older sister said that she was sorry, but she really wanted to go because it was Prince and there was only one show. Of course, the younger sister forgave her and told her to have a good time at the concert. Now, this show takes place in NYC, so in real life, she would have had her pick of several nights to go to the concert.
