The running man can be done to anything uptempo. For funniest results, it must be done with optimum force and focus.

Love, love love this song.

The handclaps! The fingasnapz!! drooling

Seriously, though, I love them, but you can't do them all at once. It's like snap/clap at the same time a few times, then snap, then clap... woot!

WHat do you all think of the out take? I recall hearing it before the released version...and finding the released version sorta fast (when I spin it I play it slower). Also I find the song very MJ-esque. Did this come out before or after MJ started his disco thang?

WHat surprises me most is that Soft & Wet did better and this one kinda just flopped on the charts...at it's really a good song..better than S&W IMO. Any thoughts or insight as to why this may have been...disco was dying etc...maybe?

yeah--on testament there's several versions of it, and it's interesting to hear how p kept retooling it till the finished product. nod and yep, there's a 12" version of this...it's the same as the album version, but it was tweaked to make it sound more disco-fied.

Yeah, the disco mix on the U.S. promo 12" is very subtle. Some instruments are buried deeper in the mix, some brought more to the front. The b-side is the disco mix of "Soft And Wet."
