When will Prince get a star on the "Walk of Fame"? Prince is one of the most influential artists of the 20th century in show- and music-business.
He won grammies 4 "Purple Rain". Since this year, he is a member of the "Rock and Roll of Fame". But he still has not a star on the "Walk of Fame" in Hollywood. What do u think? When will this happen?

People have to pay for their own stars on the Walk of Fame.
Prince is not about to do that. The Normal Whores Club

Hopefully before hell freezes over....I'm kinda of tired of the chucklehead that have received em already. If you have legendary status, cool! But if you have only been around for a minute (a.k.a. Britney), then keep your Walk of Fame status, it don't mean... "A united state of mind will never be divided

What? you have to pay for your own star? No wonder so many people that don't deserve it have one. This past summer I was on the walk of fame and dissapointed and shocked to find out Prince didn't have one.

gotta respect Prince for not giving himself his own award -- i'd admire that

Doesn't it cost like $8000 or something? Anybody can get one.
I honestly don't think Prince cares at all. The award is pointless.

Prince is not about to do that. Actually, fans have to nominate and raise the money for a star, not the performer. I'm back!!!!!!!

'sides, i don't think too many folks would wanna pony up a lotta money to donate to whatever cause. each star costs about $50,000 or so, somethin around that price range. and why do folks want 'im to have a star? he don't need one.

According to the official rules concerning the nomination of an individual to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, anyone, including a fan, can nominate a celebrity as long as the celebrity or his/her management is in agreement with the nomination. If there is no letter of agreement included from the celebrity or his/her representative, the committee will not accept the application.
There's your problem right there.

There's your problem right there. Agreed. You hit it right on the nail. I guess there will be no award for P.
