I have said as also that the perfomance with Beyonce was weak. Prince was good, and I like Beyonce... but again WHAT THE FOCK WAS THE FLIPPING HAIR STUFF??? I thought I was watching some Marcia Brady wannabe. Beyonce in my opinion looked like a total idiot. And imo next to her (prior Musicology launch) Prince looked like an aging rock star has-been trying to win (pimp himself) new younger fans. Do you think Springsteen would have done that performance, what about any of the surviving Beatles, or I dunno... I just thought it was beneath Prince to perform with Beyonce for go'sakes. SynthiaRose said: I highly doubt Prince would have performed alone. Without Beyonce, He would have had the NPG up there with him, and it would have been nothing more than a glorified Jay Leno performance. That's not enough for the Grammy's. Prince alone would have been exciting for fans -- and only the fanatical variety. He came out singing a medley of 20 year old songs that needed fresh life. Beyonce created a chemistry with Prince that brought electricity out of him and sparked the performance with sensuality. P and B were the talk of the world because they found a chemistry that worked. She oozed all the sexuality and sensuality that theh legendary PRince once had but has in some measure lost. You might be right... but why the flipping of the horses hair. Just looked so stupid. If that was the best Grammy awards show by Prince that you've seen, I seriously feel sad for you. I heartily encourage you to loop up and download the 27th Grammy awards performance. Great show! Energy, spirit and Sheila E. No Beyonce there or needed..... I feel that everything is right in the world everytime I see Wendy 's father, our very own papa Melvoin introdicing Prince and the Revolution..... Sirah Where can you find this performance? That sounds like a great show! "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack | |

Mrok said: Prince was asked by the Grammy committee if he would perform with beyonce. He said Yes with one condition, that he opened the show. That's how it came about.
Exactly!....Prince likes Bee..Bee likes Prince if he didnt i dont think he would have agreed to perform with her money or no money! ....They have good chemistry together the average person could see that if they watched the show!...In the words of James Brown "Give it up & Turn it Loose" !!
