i've never heard of this...though there is a tori amos song called wednesday that mentions when doves cry.

As previously speculated upon, Uptown's 'The Vault' now indicates that 'Wednesday' is the same song that has previously circulated for some time as the piano outtake sometimes known as 'There's No Telling What I Might Do'
