since this is a Prince forum, i'd have to say the Rock N Roll Hall-of-Fame performance, even tho i wasn't there -- but seeing him perform that way in front of millions on TV was classic -- (in the past it was reserved for small aftershow performances)

Had to be Tavis Smiley... watching him strum a guitar with Wendy... pure magic.

Seeing all 3 Twin Cities shows on the Musicology tour. My seats for the 1st concert? Row 1 Seat 1. I know it's in the round, but my seat was dead center with his microphone stand when he rises out of the stage at the beginning. So close I could see the action going on under the stage (dressing room). What a blast.

the opportunity to go to so many musicology shows with the great people i went with (you all know who you are). the opening night in LA, the champagne show (with tofka, bluey and anxiety, no less!!!), one of the mpls arena shows (with endo and the whole mpls crew!), one of the mpls aftershows (once again with tofka and bluey...and i got to meet deja!!), four out of five chicago shows (heck, make it five out of six since i went to that house of blues show...i DID get to hang with bluey). i'm a little sad i didn't see the philly shows with my peeps back east and i'm salty i didn't get to see the ny show with purplegypsy...but all in all, this was the most fun tour! great seats, great people, great set list, great performances!!!

My favorite performance this year was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance. The performance I would love to forget is the awards performance with Beyonce.....worst in Prince history.

Worst thing: Prince shafting Canada. I really wanted to see him this tour. I was so excited when I first heard he was doing a large-scale tour, then to not have him come even remotely close to where I live.... Words can't begin to describe how disappointing that was.

Besides the RRHOF performance it has to be the second show in Minneapolis. I was sitting in row 2 seat 7. No one was sitting in the two seats in front of me. When the band came out a tall fan from one of the rows behind me came and stood right in front of me. Although this blocked my view I did my best to see around her. I didn't say anything or try to move forward.

You know those commercials where they tell you how much everything costs and then at the last minute they show you something more important and label it "priceless?" Well, that was my feeling when a guard appeared out of nowhere and checked her ticket stub. She was told to return to her seat. A few minutes later I was looking into Prince's eyes as he sang and played only a few short feet from me on stage. Priceless!

I was in heaven!

Prince coming to saltlake and me being there!, the time of my Life!

There were two huge highlights in my Prince world this year...The 2 shows at the HOB in Vegas on 31 Jan and 1 Feb...The first show was incredible and it was capped by an amazing performance of "The Love We Make" and the second night is where I finally was on stage with Prince for four songs...And the proof is the pics of me on the NPGMC website!!! I saw a total of 8 shows this year and those two nights stand out the most amongst an unbelievable year...Aloha and thanks for a great year P~

Not that I expected him to go up to Nunavut or anything, but what about Ottawa? Vancouver? Montreal? Quebec City? Edmonton? All big cities with sizeable enough fanbases to warrant a show. Dude lives in Canada, (part-time, anyway) he should know that.
