I thought Candy was one of the highlights of the ONA tour - I really like her playing, she looks great, and she always seems to be enjoying herself on stage. And it's great she's a fan and appreciates the opportunity she's been given of playing with her heroes. She's relatively young and knows she's still got things to learn - great humility.

Maybe she has now got the time and money to get some dancing lessons.
Those Elaine Benice style kicks were a little wack. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Ha! I love Candy (check out "Saxuality" for some good tunes), but you are so right about her dancing! Not that I really have room to talk, but the Elain reference was great!

Very sweet Candy, to my knowledge you are the only person from the prince camp to even respond to this site. Loved you even better on the televised and videotaped shows I've seen, I could hear your passionate solos so well. How'd a little euro girl learn to be so funky?

Sounds like I'm not the only one who's blocked out all memory of the nineties NPG line-up! - I don´t see it this way... When Prince was playing with Revolution and Lovesexy bands, Candy was still a FAN. She used to see them from bottom to top. After she played with him (and maybe became Prince´s friend) she used to see his bands through a different point of view. As you can see, she praised Rhonda and Mike Scott, who were part of NPG line up for years (97-2000) and she didnt mention this band. I am not trying to bring the ´who is the best band´ debate, but I cant be quiet when someone makes fun of my dear NPG 95 I still miss Sonny, Michael B and Barbarella. I think they joined Prince in a period that he wasnt in peace with himself, but they are great musicians. I still think no Prince band was better to play raw funk and rock.

Very nice! I loved seeing Candy perform on the Musicology tour. I would have REALLY loved to have seen her and Prince sing D&P! "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

Candy, thanks 4 making my 9 yr old's day in Detroit...
Class act! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Candy didn't post that on prince.org, she posted it on her own website www.candydulfer.nl ("personal message") But it's still a great statement, either way!
