I went into HMV yesterday as they have a BIG sale on I was surprised to see they are selling Purple Rain on vinyl for £2.99 from an 'alleged' £16.99. It comes with a poster as well!!!!

Seems like a good deal to me if anyone doesn't have this on vinyl.

Also, it was quite refreshing NOT to see piles of Musicology on clearout as with previous recent releases!

I bought it for 0.2£ at a flea market.

I saw it new at HMV Australia for $AU9.99 a while back.

They also had the When Doves Cry 12" for $15.99.

Yeah, I know it's silly. Here's how I am justifying it to myself. I have a black vinyl copy, no poster, played (quite a lot) and a Purple Vinyl copy, with poster (not mint) played a bit. Therefore I'd like a Mint copy with poster...

... that's a pretty weak argument when I write it down, but at only £2.99 who can argue?
