Symbolic three?

I am playing "gold experience" in my media player and it calls the artist as "symbolic three" but has a pic of prince...i wonder why....also btw am i the only one that loves the part in "now" when he just looses it?

Just another name for the "New Power Trio" of Prince (guitar) Sonyy T. (bass) and Michael B. (drums).

A kind of band-within-a-band, of the 94/95 NPG (see also The Undertaker).
