oh man, it was footage from some hit & run show i saw where prince was doing "darling nikki" with a damn towel on his head (literally, he had a face towel plopped on his head like he was gonna dry his hair with it or something) and geneva was doing like riverdance in the background or some stupid shit. it was awful, just depressing.

When I saw him at club Life. After making us wait for hours, he came out to play 3 of his own songs and then gave the stage to Larry G. while he played back-up shit. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

The entire Rave 2000 concert.
I've tried so hard to just be able to say I even kinda like it, but it just isn't happening. It's been five years, and it's still the most dreadful live performance by Prince I've ever seen. Sometimes, I wonder if it's even Prince, and not some imposter. Or maybe he was drugged or something. Horrid.

Hah, I wish I was still more closely associated with the inner bootleg trading circle. Stuff like this I really want to see.

June 17, 2004 aftershow at Paisley Park.
Prince just looked really tired, and annoyed, and like he didn't want to be there. The sound was off and he was preturbed. At one point, he had the lead singer for the opening band take the mike and he went off stage. The other guy was obviously uncomfortable, because after about 10-15 minutes he actually said "Man, come on back up here, I don't know what to do." Then he just sorta sat down in front of the drums at the back of the stage. I almost felt sorry for him, he looked stressed. At another point in the evening, Prince had like 50 (no lie) dancers on stage with him while he played in the back somewhere for approximately 30 minutes. He kept his sunglasses on and he kept asking them to turn the house lights down to almost pitch black. He seemed to be in a mood of some sort. Or maybe that was just my perception. The show was much better the next night, however. S Filthy cute and baby U know it

i saw him on the gold tour in london wembley arena....i made an ass outta myself making all these musician friends get tickets and bragging about how they were gonna see the funkiest show of their lives and prince got up there and sang not one song anyone would recognize and the background vocals were samples....and he had to play guitar alone...meaning he couldnt dance around...so we were seeing just CRAP !!!! most folks left early or just left VERY unimpressed....i looked like a fool with some ass on stage saying PRINCE IS DEAD like 50 times....this was the worst....after that id say james brown 83...no scratch that...when he was going through his larry g...phase....if i hear larry grahms "THE JAM" one more time im gonna scream....
