I thought this dvd was great, I dont care about how the stage was set-up and all that crap I just love watching Prince perform.
I have watched it loads of times and i think its quality. You people are never ever happy. | |

I have watched it loads of times and i think its quality. You people are never ever happy. nah, that's not true. I for one am very happy with anything Prince releases concerning cd's. I love TRC, I enjoy NEWS and XPECTATIOn a lot and I absolutely adore C-NOTE I have his entire back catalogue and there is not a single album I would want 2 live without (not even NewPowerSoul hehe). It's just that, alto I think Prince is probably my fav artist of all time, I do think that his skills at releasing a kick-ass good dvd that really captures the spirit of one of his shows really suck ass. He's one of, if not THE, world's best performers and somehow he manages to make it look like he's crap when he released something on dvd. This gives people who have not seen him live on stage yet a false impression of what he can do. Basically, he can do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. His live shows are events that leave you moved and feeling like you've been kissed by a thousand people 
Now, if only he could translate SOME of that onto a dvd. But alas, his dvd's always bore me within 5 minutes. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

She annoys the hell out of me too. And that crotch shot during purple rain..... HURL! I loved the show, But there is some questionable moments. Larry all over the place, that ridiculous hair scarf he wears at the end, that weird techno thing with those idiotic chicks dancing in the audience (that girl with the purple hair...UUUGGGG) Did I hear or read somewhere that Prince is considered to be the godfather of techno music?? Is that true? Maybe thats why he did it, cause I could never really figure that out Seriously, I LOVE that DVD. Watch it daily. Loved Purple House, She's always in my hair, Kiss, and the performance of Purple Rain was Fantastic. Brings back memories of ATL in August. WHOOOO-OOOO-OO-OO-OOOOO.....
