The first and last time I was mad at Prince was during the Crystal Ball fiasco. It was then that I realized that this dude just didn't get that side of his career. He didn't understand what the fans wanted, nor did he even truly care. He had a vision. I realized I have no choice but to accept that he has a vision. What am I gonna do? Call the skinny motherfucker up and yell at him? Send him hate letters? Pay 25 bucks to raise a stink in the NPGMC forums? Please.

I'll always buy Prince's records (the ones released in stores, I'll download the rest thank you).

And he still mesmerizes me when I see him on TV or in interviews. Don't care. I still remember why I became a fan in the first place and that was 20 years ago. Oh well.

Last time I was REALLY mad at him was at the London Apollo gig on the ONA Live tour.

I know he was probably wrapped up in the show and talking the talk but he had this whole section of the show which lasted about 5 minutes 'taking the piss' out of the people at the back.

It started with him having all the NPGMC members down the front turn round to face the back rows and sing "Join the Club" over and over again.

Then he went on to say that,after the show, he was going on to a club to hang out with his "friends" who had joined the NPGMC and if we cared about him we would...."join the club" and of course,if we wanted the good seats next time we should...yep you guessed it "Join the club"

Why did it make me mad??? Because there I was,a member since day one,stuck at the back because they fucked up my tickets and having to listen to all the lucky people down the front teasing me...with Prince's permission!!!!!

I just thought it was a little silly and that,for me, it slightly spoiled the evening

right now with the bootleg thing on housequake.com, and the recent npgmc stuff.

Im not sayin nothin though

Last time I was upset with him was when I saw an article in which I thought he was telling folk to not go into the record industry which he did say but also mentioning not until they got their spirituality in order. That was a long debate in the forums.
Before that, it was the fact that he performed with Beyonce on the Grammy's and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.
Before that, it was him not having a celebration at PP after the ONA shows.
Before that, it was him marrying so soon after he broke up with Mayte ...but thats truthfully none of my business although it seems the women he's with seem to affect his music somehow.

The last time I remember everyone being upset with him as a whole was um, I think when he shut down guidetoprince.com, I believe
