To me it is, and always will be, Annie Christian. Not only do i love this song but P has never written another song that sounds like this. It truly is unique and is very clever in the way it delivers its message.

I mean there´s ton of others. this is maybe the main reason I like Prince. He goes to lots of directions, and it is exciting.

HE can rock the guuitar out, he can be VERY funky, he can do pretty ballads, he can go experimental, he can write convetional good pop songs, he can even pretend he is the band queen with 3 chains o gold, classical with venus de milo, jazzy cabaret with do you lie, he can go heavy metal with endorphinemachine screams adn guitar. So there are tons of unique songs in this journey.

Strangley enough, I think "Courtin Time" kind of sounds like "Jack U Off" to me.

I would say "Do U Lie" sounds especially unique to me.

Indeed, there are many kind of "one off" songs in Prince's back catalogue.

Cuts like "Old Friends 4 Sale" or "Others Here With Us" and "Digital Garden"
but to me, just like you said, the one that stands out most and the one that
always comes to mind first whenever this question is asked is:

"Annie Christian".

It's like none of his other songs. It's fucking bizarre in fact. I like it. It gives
me the bumps more so than "Bob George" or any other so called scary song
by Prince.

This one rocks.
