What in the WORLD was the problem people seemed to have with UTCM? I just bought the DVD and watched it after not seeing it for years and it still was a nice story, funny, beautiful direction. I read reviews about the movie and people say it's hard to follow. What is?? I don't understand it.LOL It's SUCH a cute and entertaining lil film. I think Kristin was perfect, Prince and Jerome were on point, and of course, the music is great and that goes without saying. Who else loves it?? And if ya hate it, why? It's all good to not like it, but shoot, I'd LOVE to hear a reason.

Love UTCM. My favourite Prince movie, hands down.

It helps if you're a Prince fan. Does anybody know any non Prince fans who like this film?

Yeah, my cousin, my aunt. A few of my co-workers who remembered it. They could care less about Prince, but they've seen it and thought it was a delight. It was my talking with one of my co-workers that reminded me that I needed to pick it up.

I LOVE UTCM. It is one of my favorite movies.
And I don't mean just Prince movies. It is one of my all time favs.

UTCM is my FAVORITE Prince movie! Love it! It is funny and cute and the soundtrack is awesome. I love how funny Prince and Jerome are.

Hated the movie, loved the soundtrack. Purple Rain wasn't a great movie, but it's Prince's best film work.

For the millionth, katrillionth, infinithfth time, there's nothing wrong with my favorite Prince movie of all time, UTCM It is the best movie that he has ever made...that has ever been made.

I take it for what it is...love the scenery,the costumes and some of the humor.
I always get a chuckle when Prince gets out of his car and is greeted by some street kids playing ball,wanting some money...."get a job!...I got a job!..."
as he plays with the ball all masculine and macho like in his flamboyant outfit.
Also love when Kristen Scott Thomas comes out on the day of her birthday wearing nothing but a sheet and starts to "play" the drums...."planet rock just can't stop"....hehe....oh,and when Prince and Kristen dance on the deck....what a fun interchange of dialog.....so cute and playful.
