I don't know how you're going to tally this one...some people can't READ...

there's clearly a mixture here of people who are listing the one they want VOTED OFF and people who list the one they want to WIN. So good luck with the tally...you might need to start over. Did we forget the format?

Now then. On to my impossible decision.

I think EROTIC CITY is more of a "classic" and probably Prince's most famous b-side...even people who are casusal fans are familiar with it. It has the better groove and is a part of the funkiest of Prince's funk works...

...but I'm going to be brave and VOTE OFF "EROTIC CITY."

I just think "She's Always In My Hair" is the better song. Lyrically, it blows the sophomoric "Erotic City" out of the water. And stylistically, it's much more complicated in instrumentation than "Erotic City." While "Erotic City" might provide me with a bigger emotional payoff (that of OH SHIT, IT'S PARTY TIME!) whenever I hear it, I just think that when you stand back and weigh the pieces of each song, you're left with "She's Always In My Hair" as the stronger song all around.
