ok so i had not really listened to Xpectation fully and i find i can't get thru it. i seem to remember a lot of ppl calling NEWS lite jazz, boring, snoozy, all that stuff. but i think that Xpectation is more deserving of all those descriptions. it's not boring, it just doesn't jump out at ya like NEWS does.
i guess i like NEWS cuz it covers soooo much stylistic ground it really represents Prince and all that he has done in the past.

i do admit tho: i love Xhalation. i love it!!

Well, it's dang fine to have such
a cool version of the song, but I
don't think it fits on this 'album'

The first four instrumental cuts
make for an amazing ride tho.
