why so many Prince songs in strip bars? in the movies is what im referring to. movies like the last boyscout, beverly hills cop (vanity 6) and showgirls. not to mention if I ever go to a strip club (which ive been to about 3 times in my life, dont care about it so much) they ALWAYS play a Prince song NEVER fail! I heard "pussy control" in there and im not in a place where funk is prevalent so it has me wondering:what gives with that? | |

true story...
Back when I was living in a suburb of "F--kin' Toronto" called Etobicoke (E-toe-bi-koh), my (then) boss took me and a friend of his to a strip joint. During the course of the evening, they had bought me 2 lapdances...working in porn at the time, I wasn't really interested in having anything related to my work interfere with my private life, so I thought nothing of the 1st one...then along came the second girl... An incredibly gorgeous blonde (whose name I have since forgotten) came over and danced for me to...yes...The Gold Experience. Being a massive Prince fan at the time, I was in complete and utter heaven. Then, she sat down with us after her set and just talked with us for about an hour (I might add, with nothing but a short robe on)...which I thought was very genuine, because she bought her own drinks (instead of expecting us to pay for them) and didn't even seem to want to go and dance for someone else. That was fine...but...not only did she talk with us, she was a hockey fan too...again...at the time, I was also a big fan of hockey... At one point, I turned to her and asked her to marry me...  ...we both shared a good laugh and she blushed at the compliment.
Overall, it was a fun night and I gained a new respect for strippers/dancers...this was an honest girl trying to make a living...I can't speak for anyone else who does that...sadly... Since then, I have never stepped foot in a strip club... | |

Prince songs are in strip clubs because the are so damned sexy! Think about his music and some songs should immediately come to Mind. For example: Sexy MF, Gett OFF, Erotic City, Scarlet Pussy, Kiss, and the list goes on. I can dance erotically to any just about any Prince song.  | |
