Dorothy Parker vs. Joy In Repetition (Long Version) These 2 songs are the best kick ass songs and totally timeless. I never get tired of them. On the ONA CD it’s totally incredible how Prince sings and play guitar. I know most of u fans have seen or heard the long version of these songs. Come on now and let me hear your comments on these 2 classic songs. If u had 2 choose a favorite which song would u choose and why?

IMO The Ballad of Dorothy Parker just ever-so-slightly beats out Joy In Repetition, but they're both incredible. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

One of the most evilest questions ever asked. I go with Joy In Repetition, just because there is so much more hardcore emotion to it....holding someone is truly believing, there's joy in repetition. I love both of these tunes! I think they both highllight what I miss about Prince these days. He's still making good music, But he doesn't have that adventurously funky side that gave us dark gems like "Dorothy Parker" and "Joy In Repitition" or even "Tamborine", that side that always made me go "Wow, What the F**k Is that boy gon do next?"...

Probably my two favorite songs from Prince, but I'd have to go with JIR just by a hair. Imagine if both songs were on SOTT like it was supposed to be with the long drum intro of JIR. __________________________________________________
