Is he able 2 buy them out if they are makin money off of him? Or is it not a business and run world - wide?

if he bought the companies -- where would the money go
better if Prince sued and the bootleg money went to him

I have never understood why he doesnt. He wanted out of his WB contract because he wasnt allowed to release as much as he wanted and they owned the masters. Now he is free his unreleased stuff is owned by the bootleggers and he still wont release any of it....

Pearl Jam don't have this problem. They put similar firms to Sab out of business by releasing their concerts on low priced cd's.

Unfortunately I believe this isn't about control, its purely his obsession with people making money out of his music, photo's or image.

Any1 ever thought that prince may be in on it all ready? look at Sabotage. they do alot of soundboard and great quality cd's. the artwork it always amazing etc, and im sure if prince tried hard enough there would be a way to shut them down.....

if he owned bootleg companies, he wouldnt care what gos on at places like housequake.com where he just had his lawyers force the quake to rid of their bootleg trading section....

yeah he would! u know what hes like. this way he can look like he is totally against bootlegs. just a strange theory i know but u never know eh!?

Who knows, maybe he supplied the music to them in the first place.

If Prince was to buy them, there is only one sure thing. We'd see a lot less output at double the price!

I don't think prince would want to give people money he feels are stealing in the first place (win-win situation for the bootleggers).
