why did I think this was "a million miles"? The Org is the short yellow bus of the Prince Internet fan community.

I didn't even know there was a shoot. Can we keep the Million Days rumors down. I hate getting excited like that. Christian Zombie Vampires

I do think I read something about it over at HQ - you could do a search there

I have to say that the "single" selection and "video" selection along with how and where they are distributed for this album is very perplexing. Christian Zombie Vampires

i think it has more to do with airplay and markets than any kind of traditional distribution of "singles" we've seen in the past w/ the classic prince albums, where it all seemed fairly cut-and-dried. i don't understand it all 100% myself.

its not that easy any more..since airplay means everything now on the charts they have to decide which market will play what song...since Prince's biggest airplay market is Urban A/C they have to figure out if that martket will play a song like A Million Days or Cinnamon Girl..then they have to figure if they want to send it to the HOT/AC market and which song fits best there..without a retail single to let people decide if a song is a hit or not i guess it can get very confusing on what to release as a single Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

You get men in suits pouring over statistics trying to figure out what music will be a hit where and telling the artist in what direction he should be heading. Why not just release the best song off an album? If people like it they will buy it. There is such a thing as a song which is a surprise hit. You can never totally predict anything.
